About

Welcome, my name is Louisa and I’m the creator of BooTickety Blankets. Based along the sunny South Coast of Shoreham-By-Sea, not far from the beach, I have developed a haven of fabrics, otherwise known as my workshop and home.

BooTickety Blankets are unique, combining both patchwork design (of different fabrics) and a fleeced underblanket.

Myself, I have a passion for beauty; I love fabric full of colour and texture as well as design. I love the way a series of fabrics can be put together to design something totally unique. I also have a passion for comfort. I like the warmth of fleece whether it be light or full on heavy weight. I find it soothes me. But, as passionate as I can be about beauty and comfort I am a practical girl at heart, it just has be to useful… So where practicality and beauty collide you’ll find BooTickety Blankets.

The concept for BooTickety Blankets symbolises gift of beauty that can be used and appreciated. As a style statement: across your sofa, on the bottom of your bed, or even in the back of your car, or camper van. The blanket that goes camping, surfing, picnics in the park, sand castles on the beach when the sea fret rolls in, up on the downs. It watches daybreak and sees the sunset. We are proud to say that our blankets are jet setters and are used in all of these scenarios.

Fabrics used for our blankets can be chosen by you, to create a totally individual piece of art work or can be bought pre made. Photographs of blankets will be available to be seen through Instagram, Pinterest, Flikr and BooTickety Blankets website. Each blanket is easily washed and tumble dry friendly at 30 degrees.
